Terms and Conditions

These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the UpHire platform. By creating an account, purchasing a membership or posting a vacancy, you agree to be bound by them.
1. Nature of our service
UpHire is a recruitment and career advisory platform connecting candidates with employers in Europe and supporting them through documentation and relocation. We are not a government authority, immigration department or law firm. We do not guarantee a job offer, a visa, a work permit or entry into any country.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a contract.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information and documents you submit.
- You must keep your login credentials confidential and are responsible for activity on your account.
- Submitting forged, altered or fraudulent documents will result in immediate termination without refund.
3. Candidate memberships
Access to the job market and candidate workspace requires an active paid membership. Membership fees are stated on the Pricing page in Indian Rupees and are charged through our payment gateway. A membership grants access to platform features and advisory support for the stated period; it is not a placement fee and does not purchase a job offer.
4. Employer obligations
- Employers must submit valid company registration documents for verification before posting vacancies.
- Vacancies must be genuine, lawful and accurately describe the role, salary and location.
- Employers must not charge candidates any fee for recruitment or job placement.
- UpHire may suspend or remove any employer account or listing that fails verification or breaches these terms.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the platform, including scraping, reverse engineering, attempting to bypass access controls, uploading malicious files, harassing other users, or posting discriminatory, misleading or unlawful content.
6. Immigration and advisory information
Country guides, visa pages and other immigration content are provided for general guidance with a stated source and date. Rules change frequently. Always confirm requirements with the relevant embassy, consulate or official government source before making decisions or travel arrangements.
7. Intellectual property
All platform content, branding, design and software are owned by UpHire or its licensors. You retain ownership of the documents and profile content you upload and grant us a limited licence to process and share them for the purpose of delivering our services.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, UpHire is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost earnings, travel costs, visa rejections or decisions taken by employers or authorities. Our aggregate liability is limited to the membership fees you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms, present a security or fraud risk, or are required to be closed by law. You may close your account at any time; refunds are governed by our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka shall have jurisdiction over any dispute, without limiting mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence.
